There is no way this looks good and after the loss suffered in the 2012 election, it just looks like rich, white, male spite to go after Susan Rice, who makes a proxy for Obama. They’ve won nothing.

If you’ve wondered why a Canadian follows US politics so closely, you wouldn’t be alone there. I get asked that question a lot. The simplest answer is that it matters. It matters not only to Americans but to other countries that will go where the US leads. Being right next door and currently having a right wing government, I worry about US politics because Canadian politicians like to follow US politicians, especially on their more hard right stances that would generally never be tolerated in Canada. This is just one more case in point.
As though the election never happened and nothing was learned because of the loss, the right wing is pressing even harder on the positions that failed at the voting booth. Perhaps they figure that if they can only rig it just right, their schemes will actually work. Of course it all comes with a big old dose of breitbartian propaganda thrown in.
Every time a solid fact comes out, every time a right wing talking point is sensibly refuted. You know, with facts. The pretzeling begins.

This is how I’ve always seen Romney. You can never trust a guy like that, and you should be afraid, because he’ll be whatever he needs to be, and if the extremists say he needs to be extreme, he’ll be extreme. He doesn’t care what it costs. Definitely be afraid.
