Is it possible that McCain has found a way to get himself out of the tree he climbed into over Benghazi? It’s possible that, in keeping quiet about it, he can get out with some shred of dignity intact, but I wonder what happens the minute anyone asks why he’s being quiet about it? Will he be able to help himself or will he have to start up again, with his ’2008 never ended’ bit, attacking Obama just for the sake of doing it, with whatever comes to hand?
