A note on Obama’s budget. Maybe he knows the Republicans are never going to accept it (and they didn’t), and knows that the Democrats are going to hate it (and they do) and also will never accept it (which they won’t).

The Associated Press has found that all police units are under the control of Director General Juan Carlos Bonilla, nicknamed the “Tiger,” who in 2002 was accused of three extrajudicial killings and links to 11 more deaths and disappearances.

Angry Old Man
First it was Clint Eastwood shouting at an empty chair. All McCain needed in his press confo was an empty chair next to him. Those kids need to get off his lawn. I laugh a bit but it’s sad, mostly. And it’s infuriating that he has the sort of power to do this to Susan Rice, and whoever else gets in his way. Other than his favorite Sunday talking spot – FOX news – I don’t think anyone else is buying what he’s selling, and a lot of journalists are asking why he missed that meeting.
