All is not well in the land of the Human Terrain System
System Failure?
Tim Stevens
All is not well in the land of the Human Terrain System, that much is apparent from the last few months. Two recent posts illustrate well the debate that is occurring in the blogosphere with relation to the intent, conduct and ethical issues of the HTS and their employees. Both commentators are always worth the read and I recommend these recent offerings as nuanced opinion from either side of the fence:
Maximilian Forte at Open Anthropology, Human Terrain System: Murder, Espionage, Paranoia.
Pat Porter at Kings of War, Hearts, Minds and Guns.
