The BNP is a “far right” party, whose members are banned by the UK civil service from a number of government occupations. 12,801 individuals are represented. Contains contact details of all or nearly all party members and some other individuals. The list has been independently verified by Wikileaks staff as predominantly containing current or ex-BNP members, however other individuals who gave their details to the BNP, or one of its fronts, are also represented. Included in this latter category are a handful of journalists and “anti-fascists” who have attempted to infiltrate the organization.

After hearing the Bush administration’s evidence for holding six Algerians as enemy combatants at Guantanamo Bay, a federal judge appointed by the first President Bush and who had been expected to be sympathetic to the government, sided with the defense and ordered the government to free five of the six men.
