War With Russia – October Surprise

We’ve been focused all this time on Iran watching for the signal of a U.S. attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. For years now it seems we have been on the brink of attacking Iran. Many have suggested that the Bush Cheney regime would attack Iran for political purposes to help give McCain a boost in November.
Meanwhile for the past several years the U.S. has been training Georgian troops and supplying them with weapons. All indications are that Georgian President Saakashvili had assurances from the U.S. that we would back a Georgian led attack against South Ossetia. It’s not the first time the U.S. has told someone they would support them and then left them high and dry. During Desert Storm we assured the Shi’a that we would support an insurrection against Saddam Hussein. The Shi’a in the south of Iraq rose up against Saddam and we left them high and dry to be slaughtered. As it stands right now the U.S. has not officially backed or supported the Georgian invasion of South Ossetia.
There are reports however that U.S. military advisors and planners were on the ground with Georgian troops along with U.S. trained mercenaries. Some reports have stated that Americans were killed in the fighting in South Ossetia. As it is right now the U.S. military is flying Georgian troops out of Iraq and back to Georgia. Today, the U.S. military is to begin flying “humanitarian” aid to war struck Georgians.
It’s still very difficult to understand what is going on. It is not clear why Georgia invaded South Ossetia in the first place. Who in the U.S. government gave them the green light? It’s also not clear what the U.S. will do though nut jobs like Bill Kristol are calling for all out war with Russia while Cheney is proclaiming that “Russian aggression must not go unanswered” whatever that means.
The scariest part about all of this to me is that the Bush Cheney regime are in charge. They care nothing for humanity and actually relish in death, chaos, and torture. I can only surmise that they are looking at the maps and calculating how much damage the U.S. can take if Russian bombers were to attack. I have a feeling casualties are not their primary concern. They don’t care about the millions of Iraqis dead, they didn’t care about the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and I don’t think they will care about U.S. civilian casualties in a broader war with Russia.
Bush Cheney have been itching to use nuclear weapons. I half wonder if they are willing to risk it. I am sure they feel secure enough with their underground bunkers and fiver year supply of food and toilet paper to give it a go.
Could this be what Bush Cheney have been planning all along? While we have been focused on Iran were they orchestrating war with Russia? Bush Cheney have been picking at Russia for years on all sorts of issues ranging from the invasion of Iraq to the Eastern Europe missile defense shield and now Georgia.
Perhaps the plan wasn’t to attack Iran but to draw the U.S. into a large conflict with Russia who then attacks the United States. This would then give Bush Cheney the leverage to declare martial law.
I am still concerned that at any moment a nuclear war head is going to detonate in the United States. I do not trust Bush Cheney to put their lives and interest of the American People before their own. January 09 cannot come soon enough….
